While Sam enjoyed the feeling of sand between his toes and fingers, Tae had to watch from his stroller. I still can't stomach the idea of Tae eating sand, having bugs crawl all over him, yucky yucky... etc., etc.
BUT he did swing for the first time. I don't know why I waited so long. HE ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT. Teeth and dimples all over the place.

Wow! Look at those big blue eyes! Kids are so cute together. My god-daughter is kissing and hugging her friend Naomi all the time.
Poor R didn't get to eat the sand either. By the third, you learn they're really not so breakable.
